If your spelling is as bad as mine then you will see value in this feature, its a spell check added to the description field for all listing templates. If you click the spelling option it will scan the text and highlight any words spelt incorrectly. You are then prompted with alternative options for the word.

Scheduled Database Upgrade

We have scheduled database maintenance being performed on the Zoo System around lunch time this Sunday 11th December 2011. The system could be offline for a few minutes so it is advised you avoid using it during this period.

Zoo Property – Reports

We’ve added a facility called Reports under the Tools tab. The first report you can create is a report highlighting which portals all of your properties are checked to send to. You can filter listings before you generate the report and the report can be viewed as HTML or exported as a csv file.
We have plans to add additional reports so please comment on any you would like to see here.
Export Adjustments and Instant Export

You will notice a slight adjustment in the layout of the Exports tab for each property. We have now grouped portals into types so you can easily recognise portals which are relevant to you. You will also see if you select a portal eg realestate.com.au that automaticlaly you will be selecetd to send to other portals assocaited with that portal….eg
Realholidays.com.au
Realcommercial.com.au
Realbusinesses.com.au
Your data won’t appear on these sister portals unless you have a valid subscription but it will be sent to them.
Another important adjustment is that we have added a blue link ‘Export Property” to this page under a section called Instant Export. if you press this link then we will instantly send updates to all portals for that property. This means your update will appear on the portal as soon as they process the file we provide them.
If you do not press this link but have updated the property then the property will be sent in the next automated feed which is on the hour every 2 hours.
Export Errors Section

You will notice when you login to your Dashboard that you can now see a container at the top of the page called Export Errors. This page highlights any errors with properties we have sent to Domain.com.au and Realestate.com.au. If you click through to View all errors you will see the property address and reason for the error happening.
You can then click on the property and adjust the details for the property mitigating the error. Once you have updated the property the error message will be removed. If the property is still in error then when we receive a report back from the portals the errors will appear there.
It can take anywhere from 15mins to 6 hours for reports to be sent back from the portals.
Add Contacts to Mailing Groups

We’ve recently adjusted Zoo so in the Contacts section you can add contacts into mailing groups. This featured has been added in anticipation of our eCampaign section will be released later this month.
Conjunctional Agents Section

For a commercial agents we have added a section in Zoo (Team tab) allowing them to set a conjunctional agent. We have obtained the full list of REA agentID’s meaning if you select a conjunctional agent the agent will appear along side you on realestate.com.au. This saves you valuable time as you are no longer required to login and set this at REA.
Extra Stock List Added

We have recently added an additional stock list template to the system and also added a new tab to allow you to decide what property information will appear for each property.
You can find stock lists in the tools – stock lists section of the agent’s system.

System Titles

Previously the page title for the developers and agents system was Zoo Property. This wasn’t ideal for other web developers or network groups using the system as it meant the Zoo Property branding will appear. We’ve since changed this so the title for the systems is the Developer’s name.
eg the Developer’s system for Agentpoint can be found here http://agentpoint.agentaccount.com you will see the system is called Agentpoint (the developers name) rather than Zoo Property. This is the same for all Developers and now means you can fully white label the Zoo Property product.
Download/Upload Properties CSV

We’ve added a feature into the Agent’s System which allows agents to download a csv file for all of their property listings. The file has all information including image and media urls. Clients can use this file to populate another system or application, or just keep it on file .
Once a csv file has been downloaded clients can then add data to the file and upload it to Zoo Property. This can be done on a regular basis moving forward and as long as the client uses the same id for the property then the property will be updated moving forward.
