WordPress Plugin (Deprecated)

Please use the WordPress Plugin V2 rather than this deprecated plugin.

Download the zooproperty plugin and then follow these steps :
1. Install the plugin in your website and make sure it is activated

2. Input your website url in API details and make sure Enable HTTP API checkbox is checked.

Example: If your website is http://www.vode.com.au then you will use:

Website (Name): http://www.vode.com.au

Property Notification: http://www.vode.com.au/index.php

3. Now you have the plugin working on your site.
You can see the logs for updates in ZooProperty Plugin admin menu of your website.

    1. How do I locate the WordPress menu shown in step two?

I.e. (2. Input your website url in API details and make sure Enable HTTP API checkbox is checked.). The Zoo Property API menu only lists “Property”, “Team Member” and “Office” pages.

    2. In step one (1. Install the plugin in your website and make sure it is activated), I noticed another plugin called “zoo realty” which, by its functional description, looks useful – would it be possible to have access to this plugin too? (any productivity gains on my end would help me transition more of my clients onto Zoo sooner)

  2. Team Zoo says:

    1. – Please log in to your agentaccount with your username & password
    e.g : http://agentpoint.agentaccount.com/
    – After you login, please go to “Client Centre” Tab at the top of the page
    – Then you will see Client Summary, Client Offices, Combined API, Combined Exports sub menu at the top, Please choose “Client Offices” sub meu.
    – Then you will see all the offices that you have on this page. There are API, System, Website link for every office. Please click “API” link, then you will arrive at the same page and instructions as Screen Shot 2.

    2. The Zoo realty plugin is not available on its own, you can purchase one of our existing themes and included in the theme is the latest version of this plugin. You cn read more about an AGentpoint theme here http://www.zooproperty.com/api/agentpoint-wordpress-theme/.

If you do not want to purchase a theme but are still using WordPress then you can download and install the basic real estate plugin we have here http://www.zooproperty.com/api/wordpress-real-estate-plugin/

    Hey there..

I’m trying to install this using WP Version 3.2.1, and when I try to activate the Plugin, I get the following message:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

    Not very helpful, I know.

Has this plugin been tested with WP 3.2.1?

    Cheers.

  4. Team Zoo says:

    Hi Lorne,
`Zoo Real Estate` plugin had been tested and compatible until WP 3.2.1
Can we know the plugin name ?

    Thanks

  5. Lorne says:

    SOLVED.

For some reason everything in the plugin_config.php was on one line… which seemed to be causing an error..

I just put each definition on its own line, and the plugin activated without a problem..

    Sweet.

  6. Richard Brasier says:

I am not sure why this is happening, but after installing the ZooProperty API plugin there is no option to “2. Input your website url in API details and make sure Enable HTTP API checkbox is checked.” as described in section 2 of the documentation.

There doesn’t seem to be any settings anywhere that I can find. All that is appearing is the logging information for Property / Team Member / Office.

I have both the Zoo Real Estate & ZooProperty API installed.

Is anyone able to help with this query?

    Thanks

  7. Richard Brasier says:

In addition to the above query – I dont have a ‘Client Centre’ tab at the top of the agentaccount. We are logging in through: http://jezweb.agentaccount.com

  8. Team Zoo says:

    Hi Richard,
Do you have an account in zoo to access your own office, properties, and team members data ?

The website url is similar like this http://agentpoint.agentaccount.com/
If you have the access, pleas login to that site.
After login you will see the dashboard

Then Click `Client Centre` Menu, then click `Client Offices` Sub Menu.

Please click `API` link on that page. Then you will go into API page. On this page, you need to input your website url in API details and make sure Enable HTTP API checkbox is checked. Please press `Update` button.

  9. Richard Brasier says:

OOooooooohhh right. The penny has finally dropped.

The API settings are enabled from the http://agentpoint.agentaccount.com/ site (rather than in the wordpress plugin). Sorry, not being able to see the client centre, this wasn’t clear.

I am from a web development company, trying to set this up for one of our clients. We will have to get in touch with them to see if they have the details for: http://agentpoint.agentaccount.com/

Thanks for your input. Will get back to you if I need anything more

  10. Richard Brasier says:

    Ok,
So I have all the XML information required for the ZooProperty API plugin.

This is what I have tried so far:
    1. Latest version of the ZooProperty API (1.1) & Zoo Real Estate plugin (1.2) installed. I added the correct domain details into the ‘Domain’ section and checked both enaple http and xml api buttons. WordPress plugins are installing correctly, but there are no properties appearing.
It seems that the ZooProperty API is missing a screen to input the API details – so how can it pull in the data?

    2. Installed the previous version of Zoo Real Estate (1.0.1) which included the XML parser. Entered all the API details for the Office, Property and Team member. The prompt said the data was parsed successfully, but there were not properties entered into the database, and no properties appearing on the front end screens.

This is what doesn’t seem to make sense to me:

Why doesn’t the new ZooProperty API have a screen to enter in the API details? Surely the agentpoint site cannot push all this data down? The only way that would be possible from how i can see is for the ‘Property Notification’ page that is entered to call a specific php page – this could then be automatically populated with all the necessary API details, and then run. However this would require to call a specific page from the zoo property plugin, and it only seems to allow you to enter somedomain.com/index.php. And even if that was the case, that would be a largish security risk.

It all boils down to the ZooProperty API plugin, not seeming to have anywhere to enter in the API details & parse in the data. I have been going through the plugin files looking for a clue, but can’t seem to find any.

Are you able to assist ‘Team Zoo’?

  11. Team Zoo says:

    Dear Richard,

    - Please install Zoo Real Estate plugin (1.2) & ZooProperty API (1.1)
    - Please login into zoo, and go to `Api` section ( where u added the correct domain details into the ‘Domain’ section and checked both enaple http )
There is a link `Send Current & Under Offer Listings` in the bottom below your domain field. Please click that link. In a few mins, the listings will be parsed into your domain.

If the listings parse to your domain, it should be appear on your Sales page ( e.g http://www.example.com/sales/ ) or your Rental page ( e.g http://www.example.com/lease/ )
If this is still not working, can u please let us know your domain & Office ID in zoo.

    Thanks

  12. Team Zoo says:

    We’ve been investigated your problem.
The api is working. But, your server 184.106.55.0 keeps giving no response to us ( the api ) so please contact your server administrator to increase resources.

    Thanks

  13. Kelly says:

I have been having the same trouble. Everything is setup but there is nothing showing in the zoo property api log.

Website is timwirth.com.au I actually don’t have access to zooproperty login for the office but seems I don’t need it as long as the access is granted to the domain. Which I have been told it has.

Not getting anything though- no properties nothing even showing in the log

  14. Team Zoo says:

    Hi Kelly,
we keep losing a response from your server when the api try to connect. Please contact your server administrator to increase the resources on the server, so this does not happen again.

  15. Kelly says:

What resources do you need. How much do I need to increse by. Is it a timeout issue?? Can you explain the issue a little better than just increase resources please.

If I ask for an increase in resources the very next question will be how much and what for…. Do you mind clarifying for me I would appreciate it

  16. Richard Brasier says:

I tried setting a fresh install on a different domain (http://marshalls.jezweb.net/) still no luck. The API is saying : Your domain has successfully triggered, but nothing is appearing in the logs or on the pages.

  17. Peter says:

You need to make sure you have set that as the API eg http://marshalls.jezweb.net/index.php in the API section.

Then if you update a property belonging to that office it will be sent to your server.

  18. Paul says:

Hi, same issue here – I’ve gone through the points above carefully, and get the domain successfully triggered message but nothing showing in the API logs in the site. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

  19. Ryan says:

Paul, as discussed it appears the plugin was not copied correctly and after loading a new version it was fine. You had everything configured correctly.

  24. Michael says:

    hi,
please tell me after loggin in zoo account how to edit office and add the correct domain details into the ‘Domain’ section and checked both enaple http.
    thanks.

  25. Michael says:

actually with php Query i am able ti fetch data but plugin is not returning any data. IF you could help me it will be thankful team Zoo..

  26. Team Zoo says:

    Hi Michael,
Have you set up the `domain` r `Api` details correctly in zoo ?
You can see image on http://www.zooproperty.com/api/export-data-agent-websites-apps/http-api/wordpress-plugin-http-api/#comments-4166 as a sample. In this section, there also a link `Send Current & Under Offer Listings`. You can click the link to send your listings into your website.
Make sure you activate `Zoo Property Api` plugin. There are sub menu `Property` under Zoo Property Api menu in wp-admin. Click that page, to check whether the property is save successfully or not into your website database.

  27. Michael says:

Thanks for the reply team zoo. but office is set up by you while creating api access for us. could you please tell me how could i check `domain` or `Api`? i am unable to find this option.. :(
    Thanks.

  28. Hi,
we have started the work on a new domain.
    http://scg.sbjinternational.com

but after adding the domain name in to the http api.
it not sending any logs to our pages.

i think it may be cause of new updated way of adding domain in api.

i am using the deprecated way of domain adding.

can you tell me how can i add the domain name in to the new “zoo super api” textbox.
because when i am adding the domain name: http://scg.sbjinternational.com . it shows the error “Invalid URL: scg.sbjinternational.com/ is not a valid URL for API.”

    please help on this.

  29. Sean says:

    Hi,
I installed both ZooProperty API and Zoo Real Estate plugins and configured them as directed, also added the website in the API details page. But after clicking the “Send Current & Under Offer Listings” link, after about 5 hours still no api log showing up in the WordPress admin page.

I was using the test office (office 1), with the following url

    http://www.three72.com.au/bertram_ellis/

    WordPress version: 3.5.1
Zoo property api plugin version: 7.5.6
Zoo real esitate plugin version: 1.2

    any help is appreciated.

  30. Team Zoo says:

    Hi Sean

I have just sent few listings to your website via API.
Can you please check if they’re sent to your website successfully?

    http://www.three72.com.au/bertram_ellis/wp-admin/admin.php?page=Property

    Thanks,

  31. Sean says:

    Hi Team Zoo,
We received 17 listing logs from office 1 and 28 from Office “null” (nothing showing in the office ID field)
The 28 listing from office null are all marked failed and there are four listing from office 1 marked failed too.
It seems the data has been transfered through mostly successfully. What did you do to “send listings to the website via API”?
    Thanks
    Sean

  32. Sean says:

    Hi guys,
How can I find the following details of a property:
    ‘Energy Efficiency Rating’
    ‘Brochure’

We are using the properties() function and from the result, there does not seem to be anything related to above fields.
How can we access these information?

    Thanks
