Export Data – 3rd party Portals

Designed for 3rd party real estate portals who’d like to receive automatic feeds for properties added to Zoo Property. The easiest method for this to happen is for you to accept an XML feed which we already send.

• REAXML (best for Australian portals we conform to REAXML Spec)
• Google XML (best for International portals we conform to Google Spec)
• Trulia XML (best for United States portalswe conform to Trulia Spec)

Process to Export Data

Some 3rd party portals require each office to register and setup an account with their portal, while other portals do not require the creation of an office.

If a portal requires the registration and creation of an office then that portal will provide Zoo Property with an office/agentID which we will use for all data exports for that office to the portal. When your client registers with the portal they need to indicate that “Zoo Property” will be completing property data exports.

You can see the portals when you’re in the ‘Exports” page for an office in the developers system.

In the image above you can see that the portal “Enormo” does not require an Account ID, therefore you can commence exports to this portal by simply checking the “Active Feeds” and “Automatically Subscribe” check boxes.

Active feeds means exports are Active for that portal. Automatically subscribed means that all properties added in that office will have that portal checked and exports sent. If that is unchecked then it means you need to check that portal in the Exports tab when ever you add a property in the Agent’s System.

Feeds are sent to most portals every 2 hours for any properties which have updated during that time. Some of the International based portals like Enormo only receive feeds once per day.
